Fu Tai Shopping Centre is situated at Fu Tai Court of Tuen Mun Area 52. When completed in end of 2000, it will cater for the daily shopping needs of the residents in Fu Tai Court and other nearby private developments. Fu Tai Court is developed in three phases, providing about 5 300 domestic units for a population of about 17 000.

The shopping centre has three storeys providing a total lettable retail area of about 5 700m² including a single operator market of about 580m² on the ground floor. The whole shopping centre is centrally air-conditioned and is designed for a wide range of trades including Chinese restaurant, fast food, supermarket, convenience store, clinics and other general shops. The single operator market will provide stalls for selling dry and wet goods.

A bus terminus, taxi stand and a Green Mini Bus stand are conveniently located on the ground floor of the shopping centre. A new Light Rail Station to be extended near to the shopping centre is being planned. Shoppers can also drive to the shopping centres where shoppers' carparks are provided.
